Benefits Available to Surviving Families of Texas Law Enforcement Officers Killed in the Line of Duty 

It's a fact of life that sometimes the unfortunate happens.  A brother or sister in blue is killed in the line of duty.  The shock and disbelief are usually overwhelming.  Do you know where to turn should one of your fellow officers is killed?  How will you be able to help the surviving family members?  The following information is vital to informing a surviving spouse of their rights and benefits.  These are not legal documents!  The information here was obtained from Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc.  They do not guarantee these benefits will be available to all survivors.  These pages are for information only.
