Identity Theft Resouce Center
Nationwide nonprofit organization dedicated to developing and implementing a comprehensive program against identity theft -- in supporting victims of identity theft, broadening public awareness and understanding of identity theft, and decreasing the potential victim population

U.S. Postal Inspection Service
Since Identity Theft crimes often involve the mail, the U.S. Postal Inspectors are tasked with investigating those cases. If you wish to file a complaint contact your local Inspector

U.S. Secret Service
The United States Secret Service not only protects the President of the United States but they are also charged with investigating Financial Crimes associated with Financial Institutions. Their investigations may include Bank Fraud, Access device Fraud, computer fraud, and more. They do not normally investigate cases that involve small dollar amounts.

Internet Fraud Complaint Center
The Internet Fraud Complaint Center works with the FBI and National White Collar Crime Center. Their site provides statistics and allows victims to file a complaint.

Privacy Rights ClearingHouse
The Privacy Rights Clearinghouse provides information about Identity Theft, as well as, Financial Privacy and Internet Privacy Information. Their site contains numerous Publications to help assist victims.
